You will learn the precise, step-by-step measurements to dial in your action, eliminate fret buzz, and make your instrument completely inspire your playing.  

Master the Perfect Setup:

• Precision Action & Neck Adjustments – Learn how to confidently adjust your truss rod, set string height, and dial in flawless intonation.
• Fret & Nut Optimization – Diagnose fret buzz, learn leveling, crowning, and polishing, and carve custom bone nuts or saddles for maximum resonance.

Advanced Repair & Project Options (Also Available):

Once your guitar plays perfectly, you can expand your bench skills with tailored private lessons covering any advanced aspect of lutherie:

• Advanced Electronics & Modifications – Mastering soldering, custom switching, pickup installations, and troubleshooting circuit noise.
• Complete Electric Kit Guitar Assembly – From raw parts to perfect neck alignment, bridge positioning, and final execution. (Note: Acoustic guitar kits are not accepted due to extensive assembly and curing timelines).
• Acoustic Structural Repair & Restorations – Tackling advanced repairs including top cracks, brace stabilization, bridge re-gluing, and wood hydration.
• Finish Care & Touch-Ups – Drop fills, scratch removal, and finish preservation techniques.

Note: Depending on your specific project, additional fees may apply for specialized shop supplies or instructional textbooks.

To protect proprietary trade techniques, enrollment is not available to professional guitar repair shops or commercial technicians at this time. 

Lesson Rates & Schedule Options

We structure our private lessons around hourly sessions to ensure deep, impactful learning. Whether you are looking for regular weekly instruction or need a multi-hour block to finish a major repair project, we have a scheduling option to fit your goals.

Regular Monthly Lessons (Playing & Maintenance)

• Bi-Weekly Lessons (Every Two Weeks) — $50 per hour
  Average of $100/month. Perfect for busy schedules, giving you ample time to practice and master concepts between sessions.
• Weekly Lessons (For Serious Students) — $50 per hour
  Average of $200/month. Designed for accelerated progress and maximum accountability.

Flexible Project Blocks (Perfect for Kit Building & Repair)

• Custom Time Blocks (Monday – Friday) — $50 per hour
  Need more than an hour to tackle a major electronics job, fret dress, or complete a full assembly? Multi-hour sessions (such as 4-hour blocks) can be scheduled during the week so you can make major, uninterrupted progress on your project with a luthier by your side.
  • Available Shifts: 4-hour blocks can be booked between 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
